Rec & Royal is an immersive entertainment experience that embodies two unique spaces in one artfully crafted venue. Rec Room is an innovative arcade bar and karaoke lounge while Royal is a cutting edge boutique nightclub where you can party the night away. What will I be doing at Rec & Royal?
VIP Server is responsible for beverage service of all VIP, brunch and karaoke room tables throughout the venue.
- Constantly provides guests with accurate information about the venue as well as entertainment offered in each.
- Take bottle menu, beverages, food, and bar orders from guests and communicate orders to the service bar through the POS terminal.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary work station at all times.
- Works with a sense of urgency to anticipate guest and team members' needs when the opportunity arises.
- Appear in uniform for all shifts and promotional activities at scheduled time.
- Organize and prioritize service per appropriate sequence of service.
- Ensure nightly/weekly and opening/running/closing duties are completed.
- Ensure accurate accounting of all bar monies and independent banking procedures.
- Must market and promote all venue specific events.
- Ensures that all storage areas/rooms and work areas are neat, clean and organized.
- High School Diploma preferred.
- 18 years of age.
- Must have excellent communication skills and be able to read, write, speak and understand English.
- Ability to reach with hands and arms; climb stairs; balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
- Work as a team, stay organized, multi-task, and prioritize
Hourly compensation is based on experience plus tips. This position will require working midweek shifts, weekends, holidays, and late evening shifts.
