Overview

The Office Administrator’s responsibilities generally include managing expense reports, booking and managing travel for employees, and office management assistance. This person will need to be highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing work loads and prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment. This role will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing personalized and timely support to the office. Furthermore, they also need to be able to communicate with employees, executives and travel agencies with professionalism, clarity and accuracy.

Responsibilities

Assist with employee travel at Home Chef:

  • Approve travel arrangements for Home Chef employees according to the Travel / Expense policy 

  • Assist with any changes to travel arrangements for employees

  • Assist managing the relationship with our Travel Agent / Travel Management System

  • File Expense Reports for all Travelers without a Corporate Credit Card

Office Management Assistance: 

  • Reply to office management email, telephone or face to face enquiries
  • Communicate with building management 
  • Manage office supplies, snacks and beverage programs 
  • Order meals for in-office days / weeks
  • Assist the Office Manager and cover the reception desk as needed

Special Projects & Events:

  • Help plan and coordinate office and department activities
  • Schedule meetings for large groups or visitors to Home Chef’s office 
  • Support high priority projects for functional areas as needed

This position requires 0% travel.

Salary: $52,000 - $55,000

Qualifications

  • Completion of a four-year degree program
  • Experience with GMail and Google Calendar scheduling preferred.
  • Must be available to respond to work related inquiries from the executive team as needed on nights and weekends
