Job Description

As the Graphic Designer at KURU, you'll play a pivotal role in creating assets and developing new creative concepts across a wide variety of marketing channels. You will bring our brand and creative vision to life by clearly and creatively sharing KURU’s unique product benefits to our customers. Join our dynamic Creative Team and contribute to the success of our recently launched brand direction.

What You Will Do:

  • Develop and produce creative assets for direct-to-consumer (DTC) marketing channels, both on-time and on-brief. (social ads, organic social content, email assets, display, website and more).
  • Leverage marketing insights to create assets that are tailored to our customer segments within various stages of the marketing funnel.
  • Create assets that elevate and align with KURU’s new brand and creative vision.
  • Bring product features to life and translate into benefits/values that matter to customers.
  • Collaborate with internal Creative/Marketing teams and external agencies to craft high-performing assets.
  • Originate new creative ideas and bring them to life.
  • All other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent hands-on experience in design, art, or a relevant field.
  • 1 – 2 years of professional graphic design experience.
  • 1 – 2 years of creating within email, social, website, and catalog.
  • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop & Illustrator.
  • Familiarity with Figma, Canva or other cloud based collaborative creative tools.
  • Ability to transform general vision and context into creative and effective visual assets.
  • Strong collaboration skills, able to take direction and feedback positively, even when a project needs to be re-worked or starting over.
  • Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workflow.
  • Proactive in staying updated on industry trends and enhancing craft skills.

What You Will Experience:

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment. While performing the duties of this job, you are regularly required to: sit for long periods of time; use computer to enter data; use telephone to converse with customers and employees.
  • You are regularly required to: perform repetitive wrist, hand and/or finger movement, feel the attributes of objects, grasp, push, and reach with arms or hands.
  • You must be able to occasionally move objects of 15 lbs.
