Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to customers
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area
- Check identification to ensure legal drinking age
- Monitor customer behavior and intervene as needed to prevent overconsumption or disturbances
- Handle cash transactions and process payments accurately
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service and create a welcoming atmosphere for guests
Experience:
- Previous experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or catering setting is preferred
- Knowledge of different types of alcoholic beverages, brewing methods, and cocktail recipes
- Familiarity with point-of-sale systems is a plus
- Ability to handle high-pressure situations and multitask effectively
- Strong communication skills and the ability to interact with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Basic math skills for calculating bills, making change, and managing inventory
