We are currently looking for experienced Shift Leaders and Restaurant Managers to join our team here at Cheerleader Pub and Grill located at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Jeff City Missouri. The purpose of this position is to interact with guests and ensure they have a great experience when dining at our restaurant. As a Shift Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our establishment, ensuring excellent customer service, and maintaining a positive work environment. This is a leadership role that requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively manage a team.

Duties:
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of staff members during assigned shifts
- Provide guidance and support to team members, ensuring they adhere to company policies and procedures
- Train new employees on job duties, customer service standards, and safety protocols
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders as needed to maintain adequate supplies
- Ensure proper food production and quality control measures are followed
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that arise
- Oversee cash handling procedures and ensure accuracy in cash register transactions
- Perform opening and closing duties as required
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area

- Take food and drink orders accurately and promptly
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to increase sales
- Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner
- Ensure customer satisfaction by providing exceptional service
- Assist with food preparation and plating as needed
- Handle cash and credit card transactions using a POS system
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the dining area
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow

Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage menus to provide recommendations to customers
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for handling payments and making change accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems for order entry and payment processing
- Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus, preferably in a food service setting
- Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively
