Cheerleader Pub and Grill here at the Holiday Inn & Suites in Jefferson City is looking for experienced servers and bartenders to join our team. We are currently ranking in the top 20 IHG hotels in the country and are looking for other success minded people to help continue to grow the business.

Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service to guests, ensuring a positive and enjoyable experience
- Take and prepare drink and food orders efficiently and accurately
- Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with recipes and company standards
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and cleaning glassware
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Monitor guest alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service of alcohol
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food and beverage orders for guests
- Assist with bussing tables and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area

Skills:
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for guests
- Sales skills to upsell and promote drink specials or menu items and appetizers
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently
- Knowledge of basic math for calculating bills, making change, and managing tabs
- Familiarity with bar equipment, such as shakers, jiggers, and glassware is a plus
- Understanding of drink recipes, including classic cocktails and specialty drinks
- Proficiency in using a cash register or point-of-sale (POS) system
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy periods
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
