JOB DESCRIPTION:
Audits all accounts to insure they are in balance. Closes out various accounts and makes corrections as necessary. Performs all Guest Service Representative duties when necessary. i.e.
Checking people in and out, answering phones. Reports all irregularities to management.
GUEST EXPERIENCE:
· Employs IHG True Hospitality techniques at all time when dealing with guests
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Cashier bank should be accurate and in balance at all times
· Receiving and posting payments from guests
· Acts as a Guest Service Representative when necessary
· Responsible for accuracy of reports and daily work sent to Accounting
· Promotes and enrolls Guests to Holiday Inn Rewards Club Program
· Follows procedures set by Accounting for balancing and reporting
· Responsible for accuracy of reports and daily work sent to Accounting
· Posts advance purchases
· Performs other related duties as required
· Participates in all IHG and Hotel training programs and department meetings.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION: High School Graduate
EXPEREINCE: Previous night audit experience or (1) year front desk experience, accounting experience helpful
APPEARANCE: Professional
SKILLS: Must understand the purpose of auditing, balancing and closing accounts. Must be able to handle guests and staff pleasantly and effectively.
