Hogsalt is looking for a dedicated and experienced Full Time Beverage Manager to join our team!

Experience & Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years working in a fast paced, full service restaurant.
At least 2 years of experience managing a beverage program.
In-depth beverage knowledge and strong understanding of COGS management, including proven strategies to positively affect a beverage department’s financial health; familiarity with how a beverage program contributes to the overall P&L of a restaurant.
Ability to identify problems and be solution-oriented regarding service, beverage, and overall restaurant operations.
Must have open availability including evenings, weekends, and holidays; schedule subject to modification and/or approval by the Service Director or Vice President of Service & Operations.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Progress and refine all areas of service in the restaurant.
Ensure all policies and procedures are followed, including recruiting, hiring and training, 6-month employee reviews, progressive discipline, and any other employee documentation.
Communicate professionally and confidently with guests, employees, and leadership.
Complete general administrative tasks including opening and closing duties, cash handling, processing refunds, and maintaining restaurant facilities and supplies as needed.
Provide consistent coaching and support for all hourly employees, and possess the ability to fill into any FOH hourly position.
Progress all aspects of the restaurant’s beverage program, including:
Create and follow weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecasting, utilizing these forecasts to execute weekly beverage inventories and orders and maintain up to date order guides.
Execute all beverage-related administrative duties (invoice management, physical and digital menu maintenance, correct pricing on menus and in POS system).
Collaborate with the Executive Beverage Director, Wine Director, and Beverage specialist on any menu updates.
Hold all team members accountable for the cleanliness and organization of all beverage storage areas (liquor/wine room, wine coolers, keg coolers, bars, etc.).
Coordinate all beverage-related training for front of house staff, including updating training materials and fostering ongoing education for employees.
