POSITION SUMMARY

The Line Cook prepares the highest quality food per Lucille’s exact specifications. They are responsible for preparing all food orders in a timely manner, accommodating all guest modifications.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Opens, maintains cleanliness of and closes station
  • Stocks station and checks quality of all products
  • Prepares all items needed according to recipe during shift
  • Follows all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Performs opening, on-going, and closing sidework duties
  • Follows and understands all company procedures and policies
  • Completes training of kitchen tools and appliances before use
  • Follows MSDS book for proper guidelines for use of chemicals and sanitation products

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. as needed.
  • Continuous use of hands and arms.
  • Continuous reaching, bending, abrupt stopping, stooping, lifting, shaking, stirring, pouring, and carrying.
  • Ability to be on your feet for an extended period of time.
  • Ability to work in heated or cold temperatures for prolonged periods of time.
  • Grasping and fine manipulation use of hands is required

  • Excellent verbal communication skills
  • Basic English reading, comprehension, and communication skills.
  • Basic math skills
  • Knowledge of weights, measurements, and volumes for cooking procedures.
