What We Need:

We are looking for an Executive Administrative Assistant to join our HNI Workplace Furnishings team in Muscatine, Iowa.

The Executive Administrative Specialist will provide administrative and confidential support and administrative functions to assigned HNI Workplace Furnishings leadership team.

What You Will Do:

  • Responsible for providing administrative support to the assigned executive team members; to include travel, expense, calendar management, and other duties/projects.
  • Prepare and/or review a variety of letters/memos, presentations, and reports to ensure accuracy with exposure to a significant amount of confidential information discretion.
  • Provide resourceful and proactive resolution and communication to conflicts in scheduling and/or calendar commitments on behalf of the assigned executive team.
  • Effectively organizes and manages workload and demonstrates ability to prioritize tasks based on company and executive leadership deadlines.
  • May assist with planning and execution of leadership meetings and/or events, both on-site and off-site to include agenda management, travel itineraries, and meal/entertainment planning.
  • Uses independent decision making in response to conflicts and proactively initiates resolutions.
  • Participate in activities as appropriate to ensure the success of the organization.

What You Have:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent required; Associate degree in related field is preferred.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an executive/administrative support role is preferred.
  • Ability to travel domestically to support executive leadership events as needed.
  • Requires the ability to be accessible and ability to respond outside standard work hours as needed.
