Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of financial management, including financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working for a small-medium sized company with revenues between $10-$100 million and possess strong proficiency with financial software such as QuickBooks Online or Microsoft Dynamics

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, intercompany transactions, cash flow management, and treasury activities
• Analyze and review monthly financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Develop and maintain internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial data and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Coordinate and assist with annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
• Monitor and analyze financial performance against budget and provide recommendations for improvement.
• Prepare financial reports for management, investors, and regulatory agencies as required.
• Manage cash flow and liquidity by forecasting cash needs and optimizing cash management strategies.
• Coordinate and oversee external audits and tax filings.
• Collaborate effectively with offshore accounting team members, ensuring clear communication, efficient workflow, and adherence to deadlines.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in an accounting or financial management role with at least 2 years of management experience.
• Small-medium company experience required
• Strong proficiency in financial software such as QuickBooks Online or Microsoft Dynamics.
• Experience managing offshore or virtual teams
• Experience with Power BI and SQL preferred.
• Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
• Experience working with large data sets.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
• Experience working with offshore accounting team members preferred.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
