```Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team. As an Accounts Receivable Clerk, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring timely payment collection, and providing exceptional customer service. If you have a strong background in accounting and enjoy working with numbers, we encourage you to apply.
**Requirements: Associates degree in Business or Accouting or Equivalent**
Hybird Role working 2 days from home / 3 days in office.
Responsibilities:
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Generate and send invoices to customers
- Follow up on outstanding payments and communicate with customers regarding payment status
- Process credit card payments and reconcile accounts
- Conduct account analysis and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Prepare journal entries and assist with month-end closing procedures
- Provide excellent customer service by responding to inquiries and resolving billing disputes
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely billing processes
- Assist with special projects as assigned
Experience:
- Previous experience in accounts receivable or related field preferred
- Proficient in data entry and accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP)
- Familiarity with medical terminology is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in numerical data
- Ability to analyze accounts and identify trends or potential issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to negotiate payment arrangements
