POSITION: Night Auditor Supervisor

SUMMARY:

A Night Auditor Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and ensures the auditing, posting and balancing of daily financial transactions is completed in a timely and accurate manner to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Audit, post and balance daily cashiers' work for outlets including, but not limited to, outlets in Rooms and Food and Beverage

· Ensure credit card system reconciles to daily transaction lists

· Schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members

· Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance

SUPPORTIVE FUNCTIONS:

In addition to performance of the essential functions, this position may be required to perform a combination of the following supportive functions, with the percentage of time performing each function to be solely determined by management based up on the particular requirements of the company

· Perform any duties and responsibilities asked of by the Director of Finance, Assistant Director of Finance or Director of Front Office based upon departmental needs.

SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY:

The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations.

· Knowledge of accounting operations to include all aspects, such as, accounts, receivable, payroll, etc.

· Ability to access and accurately input information into a computer using Excel software and other various software programs.

· Basic mathematical and calculator skills to prepare mathematical calculations without error. Must be able to operate a 10-key by touch, rapidly and accurately, using finger dexterity.

· Office machine: operate copier, fax, telephone

· Must possess the ability to post and balance large amounts of charges efficiently and accurately.

· Ability to learn and perform all essential job functions accurately and safely with minimal direct supervision, within initial training period after employee begins work.

· Maintain an open line of communication between guests, team members and management.

· Ability to effectively deal with guest and team members concerns in a friendly and positive manner. This involves listening to the nature of the concern, demonstrating empathy with the customer and providing positive and proactive solutions.

WORK EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

· High school diploma or equivalent required. Some college preferred.

· At least two years in related field preferred

· Experience directly supervising team members preferred.

· Additional language ability preferred.

OTHER:

Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by Hilton from time to time is essential to the successful performance of this position. Employees with irregular attendance will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, employees may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
