We're a privately owned company with a close knit team. HTR owns a large repertoire of high-end quality video/audio equipment that we rent primarily for large scale corporate events. With a strong focus on unparalleled customer support, we empower event professionals to create dynamic experiences for their attendees. Our reputation within the industry for reliability, innovation, and excellence is a testament to our dedication to elevating each event to its highest potential.

We're growing and are looking for a new team member who is both passionate and driven to focus on expanding our equipment rentals. In this key role, you'll be managing and growing existing accounts while reaching out to warm leads and prior clients to elevate their interest in our state of the art product line. This is a hybrid position so in general, you'll be in the office about 3 days a week and meeting with local clients and prospects F2F the other 2 days.

Key Responsibilities

  • Proactive Engagement: Reach out to our vibrant clientele and untapped prospects through strategic outbound calls and persuasive email campaigns.
  • Sales Development: Tenaciously follow-up with warm leads to close new business and surpass customer expectations, ensuring a stellar satisfaction rate.
  • Quotation Creation: Skillfully articulate job quotes that align with our customers' visions and budget requirements.
  • Logistics Coordination: Collaborate closely with our operations maestros to guarantee prompt and precise equipment delivery—every time.
  • Database Diligence: Oversee the meticulous upkeep of our customer database, ensuring sales records are up-to-date and actionable.
  • Event Networking: Represent our brand at industry tradeshows and customer gatherings, generating leads, and fostering relationships with potential clients.
  • Strategic Feedback: Contribute insightful feedback to refine our sales techniques and streamline processes, keeping us at the forefront of the industry.

Desired Skills & Expertise

  • Education: A minimum of a high school diploma or GED is expected.
  • Experience: Solid track record in sales, with customer service or related areas being a plus. A background in marketing and event planning is ideal.
  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communicator, capable of capturing and retaining client interest.
  • Tech Proficiency: Comfortable with Microsoft Office suite, CRM platforms, and a quick study with new software.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiar with video equipment and the pulse of the corporate event production arena or a technical mindset to learn the product line.
  • Independence: Self-starter who can also play well with the team.
  • Travel: Local travel for F2F with new and existing clients.
  • Grace Under Pressure: Someone who balances urgency with poise, particularly when under tight deadlines.

We offer a competitive base salary (50K-60K based on experience), uncapped commission potential (likely 70K-75K total comp year one, 80K-90K year two, etc), paid holidays, paid PTO and a great work culture.
