Heritage Health Care is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Full-Time Near Mansfield, OH

PositionSummary

TheAdministrative Assistant is responsible for maintaining client records andassisting the Office Manager with the day to day operations of the Branch.

EssentialFunctions

  • Heritage(operated by HCF Management Inc.) exists to care for our clients, such that,regular attendance and punctuality are essential to provide quality care.

  • Mustbe able to complete performance requirements independently while using goodjudgment as well as have the ability to harmoniously work with others.
  • Mustbe able to read, write and understand the English language.

Responsibilities

  • Promote exemplary customer service to physicians, facility personnel, patient and patient family at all times.
  • Maintains clinical records, including tracking of documentation required for billing within agency timelines.
  • Enters services to include: daily problem solving & batching of visits, entering non-billable events such as mileage, travel time, meetings, in-services, etc.
  • Runs reports for the Clinical Manager and/or Administrator to monitor branch operations.
  • Create service orders
  • Coordinates lab orders as needed
  • Physician order tracking process
  • Orders non-routine supplies as requested by clinical staff once approved by Administrator
  • Orders and maintains office supplies
  • Assist with answering of phones and providing back-up for other administrative positions in the branch.
  • Maintains confidentiality with employee, client, and company sensitive information in compliance with all regulatory requirements including HIPAA.
  • Complies with accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Performance other duties as assigned by Office Manager.

Qualifications

  • HighSchool Graduate or GED
  • Excellentcomputer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft office programs
  • Medicalterminology
  • Basicoffice skills
  • Abilityto work independently with minimal supervision
  • Goodpeople skills and professional appearance
  • Exceptionalcommunication skills with focus on quality patient care and customersatisfaction
  • Isflexible, cooperative, team player in fulfilling all obligations
