What's the role?

The Team:

This team is the core ML team that does research, product design, and prototyping for various ML powered products in the Dynamic and Spatial Content organization. You will have the opportunity to work directly with experts in probe and sensor data processing to build various ML products; Places Quality, Real-time Traffic, Probe Map-matching and Localization, Lane-level insight for self-driving cars, Incident detection, Electric Vehicle Range Factors for routing. etc.

The Role:

Working with data scientists, architects, and researcher engineers to support the new places and dynamic content product including ML features development and implementation. 

• Data collection, filtering, analysis, algorithm design and implementation.
• AWS cloud platform usage with SageMaker and airflow pipeline implementation.
• Probe and sensor data analysis to improve our overall places and dynamic content quality.
• Support the on-going work on places (POI) product quality improvement.
• Traffic and ETA prediction using reliability approach and recurring congestion services

Who are you?

You are a Masters or PhD program student in CS or CE or other Engineering area.

• Proven ability to quickly prototype in languages like C , Python, Java Script, R, Julia, experience in Amazon Web Services, Airflow, Athena, Redshift, Sage maker will be a big plus.
• Solid experience in developing new research ideas and implementing prototype of predictive ML systems in timely manner.
• Ability to efficiently write technical reports and communicate results.
• Highly motivated team player.
