Research Engineer - Algo Trading Fund - $750k

Our client, an Algorithmic Trading Fund is seeking a Research Engineer to take an instrumental role in enhancing their research platforms, focusing on advanced trading simulations, robust numerical computation, and innovative algorithm development.

The fund has made extensive investments in technology, and you will have access to our comprehensive research cluster, which boasts top-tier GPU resources.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain a research environment tailored for sophisticated trading simulations and numerical analysis.
• Collaborate with our team of Quants and Traders to identify, design, and implement new trading opportunities.
• Enhance and optimise algorithmic trading models and strategies
• Contribute to constructing and refining advanced market simulators for back-testing and scenario analysis.
• Ensure high levels of data integrity and consistency within our computational frameworks.

Requirements:

• Experience working in high-frequency trading or in high-performance computing environments (preferably in a financial or trading context).
• Excellent programming skills in Python & C
• Familiarity with GPU programming and optimization techniques.
• Understanding of financial markets, trading principles, and quantitative strategies.
• Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field. (Advanced degree preferred).

Compensation : $550k - $750k (As always, this is negotiable).
