RESPONSIBILITIES & QUALIFICATIONS:

The Electrical Engineer Intern will contribute to the Water Solutions Team performing electrical engineering duties and working on a variety of electrical projects that will sharpen your skills in engineering, leadership and business. The Intern will work on a diverse range of assignments and projects in the areas of water, wastewater and infrastructure electrical systems.

• Responsibilities include electrical contract drawing and specification production for a wide range of project types, including water and wastewater treatment plants, odor control systems, administration and laboratory facilities, vehicle maintenance buildings, central heating plants, and others.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering

• Additional proficiencies in MATLAB, AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and computational fluid dynamic modeling are a plus.

• Practical knowledge of three-phase electrical systems and components.

• Ability to read electrical on-line diagrams.

• Computer modeling for Power Studies and Arc Flash Analysis.

• Interest in Wastewater or Water Treatment.

• Strong communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal and organizational abilities and a willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
