Summary: Seeking a Sr. Electrical Engineer with expertise in electrical design for manufacturing and industrial clients, power system distribution systems, and team leadership.

Requirements:

• BS in Electrical Engineering & PE License

• 10 years of experience in electrical design for manufacturing & industrial clients

• Proficiency in designing power, lighting, grounding and lightning protection, alarm systems, control systems for building equipment, communications, access controls and security systems.

• Knowledge of large power transformers, power generation, transmission operation and maintenance of power system distribution systems (110vac to 138kvac), harmonic analysis, cable and buss capacity analysis, load flow analysis.

• Familiarity with power system analysis software such as SKM Powertools or ETAP

• Strong knowledge of national safety electrical codes and standards

• Experience working directly with clients (Scope & Specification Development)

• Proven experience leading teams and managing people

Preferred Skills:

• Working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD

• LEED accreditation

• Ability to work with coding and automation

• Design automation skills including the application of parametric design tools such as Dynamo and Grasshopper

• Software Coding especially with Python or C#

• Experience with Revit's API

• Proficiency in Power BI for data visualization

Responsibilities:

• Determine scope, budget and schedule for each task

• Perform design work or assign tasks to team members

• Prepare engineering reports, plans, specifications for projects

• Participate in contract bidding and administration

• Provide leadership to engineers/designers

• Solve complex engineering problems

• Design electrical components/systems for industrial facilities

• Ensure compliance with codes requirements/standards on designs

• Conduct inspections for quality control/assurance programs

• Assist in starting up commissioning of communication security instrumentation controls projects.
