OVERVIEW

Hendall Inc. is seeking an accounts payable/ staff accountant to join our finance team. This position involves attention to detail, analytical skills, mathematical skills, computer skills, organizational skills, and excellent communication skills. The responsibilities will include:

DUTIES

• Obtain appropriate approvals and coding for invoices
• Process Accounts Payable invoices for assigned vendor accounts
• Post invoices into accounting system on a daily and timely basis while ensuring invoices are coded to the correct GL accounts
• Reconcile credit card statements to existing receipts / invoices and follow up on missing receipts from corporate cardholders
• Ensure expenses are coded to the correct expense accounts, project/ task, and the supporting receipts match
• Ensure that there is an approval from the Project managers for any project expenses
• Assist with compiling the documentation for monthly ODC reports for project invoicing
• Review and process employee expense reports in accordance with Hendall's policies
• Recording payment information to vendor's invoice & entering online payments
• Maintain files and documentation in accordance with Hendall's policies
• General department/office duties
• Assist the Finance Department with special projects
• Handle sensitive information with confidentiality
