Requirements

Job Duties:

• Hold clinical placement information sessions for students across programs.

• Facilitate and assist with the identification, establishment and maintenance of relationships with community partners for the purpose of further development and support of clinical affiliates.

• Assist in the development and execution of agreements and/or contracts with clinical affiliates.

• Work closely with program directors to understand the number of clinical placements needed for each term based on enrollment.

• Assist in securing adequate clinical adjunct faculty who will be involved in training nursing students at clinical sites.

• Work closely with program directors to have a clear understanding of clinical content occurring at each level of clinical engagement, and to assure this is occurring in the clinical setting.

• Work closely with administrative staff to ensure that all Castle branch compliance has been met before students are placed for clinical.

• Assure that all pre-clinical onboarding is completed before students start clinical.

• Monitor student engagement/tracking to be sure students who miss clinical are set up for make-up clinical time.

• Develop and deliver orientation and 2 additional check points for all clinical adjuncts. To include one pre-clinical general orientation and 2, 30-minute sessions offered at mid-term and near the end of the term.

• Coordinate with the Director of Quality Outcomes to ensure that evaluations of clinical sites and clinical adjuncts are completed each term.

• Clinical site visits are utilized as an opportunity to assess quality of the experiential placement for students as well as to reinforce learning outcomes.

• Coordinate, maintain, and perform periodic evaluation of the clinical placement process utilizing quantitative data.

• Provide clear communication regarding available office hours.

• This role requires the ideal candidate to be on-call outside of the working hours of 9 am – 5 pm as well being available over the weekend as required.

Salary range $120,000 - $123,000.

Degree or Certification: RN preferred.
