Description

Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities:

The employee will be responsible for the comprehensive Rental sales of Heavy Machines LLC rental fleet

Responsibilities

Territory Management

  • Be responsible for and involved in all equipment rentals

in the assigned territory. Customer support will be coordinated with the local branch.

  • Cultivate strong customer relationships.
  • Overview the delivery of rental machines and monitor performance.
  • Use of CRM to quote and document activity.
  • Follow up on customer problems and work out solutions

in conjunction with branch personnel.

  • Use of CRM to maintain sales contact database for use in mailings and to schedule rental sales calls
  • Other responsibilities may be assigned.
  • Continuous market analysis.

Employee will be directly accountable to the Branch Manager for proper

interpretation and fulfillment of responsibilities.

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Strong sales skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel for training etc.
  • Advanced oral/written communication, presentation, negotiation, and sales strategy skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with the corporate sales team and to draw upon those corporate resources in an appropriate manner
  • Ability to deal with competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • The highest ethical standards including honesty, integrity, and dedication
  • Ability to diplomatically manage difficult customer and/or employee situations
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Education/ Experience:

  • Good computer skills, excellent knowledge of Windows Office Products
  • 5 years' experience in heavy equipment sales and rentals preferred.
  • Industry and/or heavy equipment rental sales experience preferred.
  • Solid understanding of local market conditions
  • Excellent customer service skills
