Position Summary:The Customer Service Representative position involves high customer contact over the phone and in person to accurately process customer orders via phone, email, or fax.
General Purpose of the Position:
The Customer Service Representative assists in Reception and Will Call. This position reports to Vice President of Sales & Marketing.

Office Hours:
Office Hours: Sunday through Friday, from 8:00am – 5pm (Days off are Saturday and another day during the week)
Essential Duties & Core Responsibilities:
- Accurately take customer orders and input into order-taking system
- Maintain accounts in system and schedule deliveries in accordance with route schedules
- Greet and assist customers that come in to pick up orders in person
- Collect money and process credit card transactions for will-call orders
- Attend department and company meetings as scheduled
- Maintain up to date knowledge of product lines in order to assist customers in an accurate manner
- Communicate with teammates and customers in a consistently friendly and positive manner
- Conduct all business in a professional and ethical manner
- Establish customer telephone contact in an effective and timely manner
- Responsible for accurately entering customer orders in a timely manner
- Ensure customer problems are handled in a timely manner and to the customer's satisfaction
- Communicate with Driver Supervisor and Routing on variations of deliveries
- Communicate with inventory control on product discrepancies
- Expedite customer needs for will-calls
- Communicate regularly with Sales Team regarding special orders, customer issues, etc.
- Assist Sales Team and customers with pick-ups, will-calls, special orders, etc.
- Assist Sales Team with entering orders, offering product pricing as requested, etc.
- Take new account leads to Sales Team Supervisor
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Must be able to perform basic arithmetic calculations (e.g., addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentage functions)
- Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time

Education & Experience:
- Education: High school diploma or General Education Development (GED) or equivalent; one or more years’ experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Experience: Minimum of 1-year related experience required
- Bilingual: English/Spanish
