Description
This position is responsible for accuracy of the organizational financials. The role is available for Part time or Full time.
Job duties include but are not limited to:
- Performs all aspects of accounts payable duties.
- Prepares invoices for proper approval
- Ensures accurate capture of expense to the correct categories
- Enters invoice information correctly ensure proper payment amount and vendor
- Prints checks timely to ensure no late payments
- Collaborates with Managers and other staff to procure payable information
- Audits invoices and research any discrepancies
- Prepare accounts payable checks to include timely release and proper signature
- Analyzes vendor accounts
- Prepare 1099, W-9 and credit applications for vendors
- Validates monthly expense entries
- Deposits any funds received at administration into the bank
- Proactively identifies areas for cost savings and financial operational improvements
- Follows established regulations and professional standards as required of the position.
- Participates in and supports continuous quality improvement
- Assists with incoming mail separation
- Financial administrative support and/or projects as assigned

Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience preferred
Advanced accounting principal knowledge
Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills
Highly Detailed and Organized
Ability to successfully multitask and meet deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus
Ability to operate independently with minimal daily direction to accomplish objectives
Preferred:
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains
