Join a growing team in Lexington, KY.
Now hiring a Full Time Payroll Specialist.
SUMMARY: To process and document daily accounts payable and payroll transactions and prepare and distribute regular payroll and accounts payable reports.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: An individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Other duties may be assigned.
  • Scans and files all relevant payroll documentation. Receives Personnel Status Change alerts and makes appropriate changes to employee records in Paycor for all terminations, pay rate changes, etc.
  • Receives Punch Edit forms and make appropriate changes to employee time cards. Receives, interprets, files and enters various garnishments and liens into payroll. Files payroll reports for each facility’s bi-weekly payroll. Prepares reports for purposes of remitting employee withholdings to vendors (e.g. 401k, 403b, A&S, etc.).
  • Ensures proper documentation is maintained.
  • Performs quality assessment and assurance functions.
  • Maintains and applies current skills and knowledge through continuing education.
  • Carries out responsibilities of position in compliance with federal, state, local laws and regulations, and with facility philosophy, policies and procedures.
Other duties assigned.
Previous payroll experience is preferred.
Experience with Smartlinx and Paycor is preferred.
