The Commissary Data Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the comprehensive data infrastructure within the Commissary environment. The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the efficient collection, organization, storage, retrieval, and analysis of data related to Commissary operations. This position plays a crucial role in enhancing decision-making processes, optimizing inventory management, controlling costs, and improving overall operational effectiveness.

Data Manager Essential Functions

• Analyze large datasets to extract meaningful insights. Utilize statistical methods and tools to interpret data trends.
• Lead and coordinate projects from initiation to completion. Ensure timely delivery and quality of project outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients. Address customer concerns and provide effective solutions.
• Generate comprehensive reports summarizing key findings. Present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Communicate effectively to ensure project alignment.

Data Manager Required Skills and Abilities

• Proficient in data analysis tools such as Excel. Ability to interpret complex data sets and draw actionable conclusions.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Experience Revel POS and Wherefour inventory systems preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences.
• Customer service orientation with a focus on client satisfaction. Ability to understand and address client needs effectively.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment. Foster a positive and collaborative work culture.

Education and Experience:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• BS or equivalent work experience preferred.
• 3 years in food service, production, inventory, hospitality, restaurant, catering, etc.
