Corporate Inventory Specialist

Würth MSM Division, is a leading distributor of industrial and safety supplies, is in search of a focused and disciplined Corporate Inventory Specialist to enhance our Logistics Department. We have a Full Time opening.....This position is Monday- Friday 8:00am-5:00pm. No Weekends or Holidays!

The primary mission of the Corporate Inventory Specialist will work closely with our sales reps, purchasing team, solution teams and our customers to ensure the inventory needed is created and maintained for our Corporate Accounts accurately. Drive a streamlined process for new material creation and maintenance of inventory for our largest accounts. The Candidate works with sales reps and customers to develop a good understanding of customer inventory requirements.

The responsibilities of this position are to:

• Act as liaison between Corporate and Vertical Sales Teams, Solution Teams, Materials Management Team, and Customers to ensure efficient setup of onboarding new customer programs and continued accuracy of program product offerings.
• Perform customer follow up on inventory that isn’t moving as originally predicted.
• Formally track all Corporate Inventory/Material Special Projects
• Support corporate product and system training.
• Identify Material Clean-up projects needed.
• Provide advice on product and vendor standardization where applicable.

Qualifications for this position:

• 2 years minimum industry experience preferred with focus on technical aspects of the business.
• Ability to communicate at all levels inside and outside the company, both in written and verbal communications.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• SAP system knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to gain cooperation in goal attainment.
• Strategic thinker with analytical ability to use logic and reasoning to identify alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problem solving to achieve goals.
• Extremely detail oriented.
• Ability to multi-task at a high level to complete multiple priorities and projects.
