This is a service counter postion at a hydraulic repair and parts distribution company. Job responsibilities include:

Assist Walk-In Customers

• Fabricate hoses for walk-in customers
• Deliver parts for customers picking up orders
• Match parts for customers bringing broken parts
• Take in repair jobs as necessary & create job card

Seal Management

• Maintain seal room inventory
• Match seals sent in by customers or needed for repair jobs
• Purchase seals as needed for jobs and inventory of commonly used seals
• Assemble seal kits

Convert shop work orders into sales orders

• Input shop work information into sales orders in ERP system
• Double check all parts needed for the job are included on the sales order
• Double check that labor is reasonable for work performed
• Communicate with customers as needed for pick-up or delivery

Maintain Job Work Order spreadsheet

Order parts as needed for repair jobs

Help load and unload trucks as needed

Other tasks as required

Mechanical aptitude is a requirement and hydraulics knowledge is a plus. There will be limited mechanical work required. The position has a lot of customer contact, both in person and on the phone, so a pleasant and helpful attitude is required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
