Position: Security Supervisor
Job Description:
We are seeking dynamic individuals to join our team as Security Supervisors. The ideal candidates will possess strong leadership skills and a dedication to maintaining safety and security in shelter environments. As a Security Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing security guards, responding to security breaches and incidents, and collaborating with senior management to uphold best practices in security protocols.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to security breaches and incidents reported by customer staff and security personnel.
- Collaborate with senior management to maintain and enforce security post orders policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership, direction, and training to security guards under your supervision.
- Ensure all security guards are adequately trained to adhere to Mandated Reporter, Sexual Harassment, Narcan, CPR, and DHS 40 Hour Shelter training requirements.
- Maintain accurate timekeeping records and ensure compliance with contractual requirements.
- Conduct employee progressive disciplinary action to align with Local SEIU 32BJ CBA.
- Maintain communication with customer staff to ensure service deliverables are met.
- Ensure compliance with all site contract requirements and regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in shelter environments.
- Experience in security management preferred.
- Strong administrative skills including report writing and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Basic understanding of security systems and processes.
- Valid security guard license (F02) and access to a vehicle.
- Flexible availability to respond to call outs and adjust schedules as required.
