Hartman Yacht Maintenance is Hiring an Administrative Assistant - Marine Industry Near Pompano Beach, FL

We are currently seeking a dedicated Administrative Assistant for our Ft Lauderdale office. The ideal candidate will be friendly, outgoing, able to multitask, and work well with a wide range of people. Job schedule is 8:30am to 5pm, Monday to Friday

Job duties for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Answer incoming phone calls
  • Greet customers in a friendly manner ensuring that their needs are met
  • Contact customers to provide updates, schedule appointments, or other communications
  • Coordinate and work with vendors and field technicians to ensure that work is getting done timely and efficiently
  • Assist Service Manager with phone calls, updates, or other administrative duties
  • Process and update purchase orders & work orders
  • General data entry, digital & on-site filing, scheduling, or other related administrative duties

Ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent communication and follow up skills
  • A friendly, customer focused attitude
  • Intermediate to excellent computer skills
  • Prior experience working in a service industry that utilizes work orders is a plus
  • The ability to speak, read, and write English fluently is a must. Similar abilities in Spanish would improve employability
  • Prior experience in the Marine industry would be highly sought after but not required
