CARES (Community Assistance Resources and Extended Services, Inc.), a non-profit is looking to hire a Licensed Clinical Psychologist for a full-time position, 40 hours/week. We are seeking a psychologist, with passion and commitment to empowering individuals to lead fulfilling lives, to join our growing multidisciplinary clinical team.

POSITION DETAILS

CARES is a growing nonprofit organization serving a diverse population of children and adults throughout NYS, since 2005. CARES operates two licensed clinics for children and adults, with Mental Health issues (OMH) and for Individuals with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD). CARES also has an active psychology doctoral internship and fellowship programs.

CARES Licensed Psychologist will report to the Clinic Director and perform the following duties:

· Provide evidence-based therapy for individuals with mental health conditions e.g., anxiety, depression, disruptive behaviors, ADHD, PTSD

· Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments

· Assist with training, support, and supervision of new hires, interns, and post-docs

· Partner with the Clinic Director to assist with current programs and develop new initiatives

· Perform other related administrative and clinical duties in support of CARES clinics and internship/fellowship post-doc programs as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

· NYS Licensed PhD or PsyD

· At least two years of post-licensure mental health experience

· Experience working with children, adults, and families

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· Background in Developmental Disabilities

· Experience with a diverse, multicultural, and multilingual client population.

· Bilingual Mandarin, Cantonese, or Spanish preferred

· Training and/or experience in suicide prevention

· Experience providing training, supervision, and outreach
