The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine is one of only two independent child and adolescent psychiatric departments within an academic medical center in the nation. The Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Bellevue is seeking a full-time psychologist to be shared between two related sites, the Mental Health Team embedded at the ACS Children’s Center and Bellevue’s Children’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program (C-CPEP).

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Conduct evaluations and psychological care to all assigned patients, participating in clinical evaluations and psychological treatment, treatment planning and dispositions;
• Participate in interdisciplinary team in-treatment planning and ensure appropriate clinical management of all issues regarding assigned patients;
• Liaison with patient families and other specialties and institutions, as pertains to assigned patients;
• Provide support and guidance around child development and parenting to high-risk families;
• Responsible for adherence to all Federal, State, and City regulations;
• Participate in performance improvement activities on the unit;
• Participate in the teaching and training components of the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Department and psychology training programs.

Minimum Salary: $110,000

Maximum Salary: $110,000
