We are seeking a highly self-motivated and systems-oriented Operations Manager to join our team. This role is pivotal in supporting our growth efforts and requires a candidate who can focus, adapt and execute on optimizing all operational functions in the business. The Operations Manager will play a critical role in warehouse, events and sales operations.

General Responsibilities:

Warehouse Management:

  • Oversee the efficient functioning of the warehouse, ensuring timely receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
  • Implement and optimize inventory management systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
  • Streamline order fulfillment processes to enhance overall efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and logistics partners to improve inbound and outbound logistics.

Event Operations:

  • Plan and coordinate various events and conferences.
  • Work closely with event organizers and vendors to ensure seamless execution.
  • Manage logistics for events, including transportation, setup, and breakdown.
  • Evaluate the success of events and implement improvements for future events.

Sales Operations:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to maximize revenue and achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze sales data and customer feedback to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to optimize processes and enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Implement and manage CRM systems to track customer interactions and sales performance.

Hiring, Training and Development:

  • Hire the necessary talent to match the continued growth of the business.
  • Develop and implement training programs for the operations team, focusing on enhancing skills and knowledge relevant to warehouse, event, and sales operations.
  • Identify training needs through performance assessments and feedback from team members.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and mentorship to team members to support their professional growth.
  • Document and maintain training records to track the progress and development of team members.

Process Optimization:

  • Continuously review and improve operational processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Identify bottlenecks and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Implement best practices in operations management to drive continuous improvement.

Team Management:

  • Lead and motivate the operations team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team skills.
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration among team members.
  • Conduct quarterly performance reviews and address any issues or concerns.

Quality Control:

  • Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high product and service standards.
  • Collaborate with relevant teams to address and resolve quality issues promptly.
  • Monitor and analyze customer feedback to identify areas for quality improvement.

Health and Safety Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations in warehouse and event operations.
  • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure working environment.
  • Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for the operations team.

Cost Management:

  • Monitor and manage operational expenses to ensure cost-effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities for cost savings without compromising quality.
  • Negotiate contracts with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms.

Technology Integration:

  • Evaluate and implement technology solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Explore automation opportunities to reduce manual tasks and errors.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies relevant to operations.

Reporting and Analysis:

  • Generate weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on key performance indicators for warehouse, event, and sales operations.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Present findings to senior management and collaborate on strategic decisions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations management, with a focus on warehouse, event, and sales operations.
  • Proficient in using inventory management software and other relevant operations tools.
  • Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address operational challenges.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with internal teams, vendors, and senior management.
  • Ability to adapt and transform “data” into actionable strategy, budgeting and forecasting.
  • Commitment to maintaining high-quality standards and implementing effective quality control measures.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and a proactive approach to compliance.
  • Ability to think strategically and contribute to the development and implementation of organizational goals.
  • Experience in aligning operational strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Experience in monitoring and managing operational expenses.

- Employ Microsoft 365 for documentation and data management.

- Leverage Outlook and Outlook Calendar for communication and scheduling.

- Utilize Pipedrive as CRM.

- Use Shopify as POS.

- Use Monday as project management software.

- Work with Teams and Microsoft Outlook for team collaboration and email management.

- Use Chat GPT for AI-driven tasks and assistance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
