The Opportunity with McKinstry

We are adding a Business Operations Analyst to our growing ActiveOps division in Tampa, FL to provide excellent administrative support. You will be an essential member of a warm and welcoming team, making everything run like clockwork. Additional responsibilities include:

Business Operations

• Coordinate the foundational activities for business operations including project administration, resource management, and support for onboarding and team meetings.
  • Deliver ad hoc project support tasks like project set-up and change order processing in an efficient and accurate way
  • Manage monthly administrative activities like billing and job closeout to ensure healthy projects and happy project teams
  • Coordinate and connect team members via a regular cadence of team events, lunch and learns, and special team building events
  • Schedule, lead and/or coordinate meetings, documenting action items as needed

Data & Information Management

• Organize and distribute information to make people’s work-lives better.
  • Maintain current process information via SharePoint and update other operational documentation to ensure the team has the latest information at all times
  • Provide technology troubleshooting to team members on common software challenges, and working with technology experts to resolve more challenging issues
  • Research and compile information project information to help teams solve problems

Communication & Relationships

• Develop and maintain professional internal relationships, providing a high level of customer service across teams, departments and geographies.
  • Write clear and helpful business communications to help department meet its objectives, including emails and “how to” documentation
  • Teach and coach team members on department expectations and best practices
  • Participate in purposeful outreach and connection across departments and regions. May participate in cross-departmental and corporate committees and teams.

What You Need to Succeed at McKinsty

• Passion for architecture, engineering, accounting, consulting, or other professional services industry
• Eastern time zone preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, time management and organizational skills.
• Proven ability to learn quickly and build strong relationships.
• Experience with business financials (e.g. billing) and data management preferred
• Proficient with Microsoft products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required.
• Substantial experience with Excel and some experience with SharePoint preferred.

The pay range for this position is $23.15- $36.48 per hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This is a non-exempt role and will be paid hourly. A bonus may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the position offered. Base pay information is based on market location.
