We are looking for a Maintenance Technician in the La Vergne area. We are hiring immediately, if you have experience as an Industrial Maintenance Technician please apply now!
1st shift hours:
Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM & Friday hours will be 5:00am – 1:30pm. Overtime hours will be 5:00am – 3:30pm (M-T); no overtime on Fridays… Saturday OT hours will be 5:00am- 1:00pm, if they are scheduled.
Payrate is between $28.00 - $30.00 an hour depending on experience.
- Requires the skills to read, write, and communicate effectively.
- Requires lifting, bending, squatting, walking to all parts of the plant, reaching above and below waist, carrying materials and climbing steps.
- Requires good eyesight to be able to measure, read instructions, measuring devices, and to read engineering drawings/ schematics.
- Requires the skills to repair, maintain, and clean machines and electronic and mechanical equipment.
- Requires fabricating racks, tables, and miscellaneous items.
- Requires using tools and equipment such as drill press, saws, multi-meters, oscilloscope, and etc.
- Requires driving a fork lift.
- Perform other duties as required by management.
- Dealing with very high voltage (480 volts to 600 volts) machinery.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Must be 18 or over
- Must comply with Hamilton-Ryker’s substance abuse policy.
- Must wear steel toed shoes
- Must have a high school education & Vo-Tech or Technical Institute Training.
- Must read and apply data/specs from Engineering drawings/schematics.
- Must pass fork lift license and possess current driver's license.
- Must effectively perform all duties of Maintenance.
- Must have work experience in electronics, electrical and any 2 of the following skill areas: welding, plumbing, mechanical, sheet metal and HVA.
- Must have at least 3-5 years of experience.
