Priority Personnel is seeking an Accounts Payable/Payroll Clerk for a company located in San Marcos, TX.
Pay rate: $18/hour
Work Schedule: Mon-Fri/8am-5pm
Job Duties:
- Data entry of invoices
- Reconciling vendor statements
- Checking accuracy of vendor invoices to internal records
- Tracking documents, filing, and scanning
- Processing checks for payment and processing electronic payments
- Assist other accounting staff with various tasks as needed
- Assist with answering telephones.
- Perform reconciliations from the timekeeping system to Payroll, ensuring data integrity.
- Identify, report, and correct any discrepancies.
- Process weekly payroll efficiently and accurately.
- Update personnel information in the payroll system as needed.
- Assist Human Resources with various tasks such as open enrollment, filing of employee files, handling monthly cafeteria plan insurance enrollments, and 401k enrollments.
- Uphold strict confidenality with payroll and other sensitive employee information.
- Well organized and proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook and Word).
- Exceptional accuracy in data entry
- Previous experience with accounts payable is preferred.
