Hamilton-Madison House (HMH) is the leading provider of behavioral health services for New York City’s Asian community and the second largest provider in the country. HMH serves nearly 1,000 community members through a comprehensive program model that understands and incorporates the strengths of individual cultures and addresses the stigma related to mental illness. Services range from psychological services; personalized recovery-oriented services for individuals with mental illness; recovery programming for addiction in six languages and seven dialects; supportive housing for people with mental health issues; and training and internship opportunities for graduate students in social work, mental health counseling, and psychology. The Clinical Director of Behavioral Health Services is responsible for leading and supervising clinical staff in the organization’s outpatient behavioral health clinics. The Clinical Director leads clinical compliance for mental health disorders in accordance with Federal and State regulations and the management of multiple service lines in accordance with behavioral health and substance misuse contract funders including OMH and OASAS. The Clinical Director will establish and implement clinical best practice policies and procedures, individual/group supervision, case conferencing, quality assurance and improvement, incident management, and review of treatment plans. The Clinical Director will work with the Assistant Executive Director (AED) to be a liaison between HMH and other behavioral health agencies and develop and maintain relationships with other organizations on service delivery, research, community services, and outreach efforts. The position may include carrying a small caseload of direct clinical work. The Clinical Director will also serve as the clinical and administrative back-up of the AED, with oversight of all program leads and staff as needed.

Compensation: $75,000-$82,000 (depending on education and experience)
