Job Description
We are looking for a detailed and highly motivated Accounts Payable Specialist who will participate in the Company's procure-to-pay process. The AP Specialist should be comfortable with the full cycle AP process and ideally have experience with Coupa.
Responsibilities
- Enter/approve invoices in Coupa by reviewing and verifying expense requirements per company policies.
- Onboard AP vendors and set them up in Coupa
- Voucher invoices while ensuring that the GL coding is appropriate.
- Perform audits and reconciliations of AP transactions and vendor statements.
- Respond timely to vendor inquiries regarding accounts.
- Act as subject matter expert for AP processing across all company systems.
- Prepare and review schedules in support of internal and external audit process and requirements.
- Assist with adding efficiencies to the current procure-to-pay process.
- Maintain 1099s and year end filing
- Other responsibilities as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Reconciliation skills
- Excellent problem solver
- Proficient with MS Excel, MS Word, and/or any other products within the Microsoft Suite
- Strong organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work and communicate among multiple teams and functions
Preferred Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, or Accounting and 3 years related experience.
- Advanced knowledge and skill with MS Excel, MS Word, and/or any other products within the Microsoft Suite
- Coupa experience preferred.
- Experience in the medical industry is a plus
- Experience handling accounts payable for multiple locations
