We are looking to add a Quality Control Inspector to join our growing team in our Santa Fe Springs, CA facility.

As a Quality Control Inspector, you will perform assessments, documentation, and organizational tasks to support the efficiency and effectiveness of Hadco Metal Trading’s organization supply chain. 

Role & Responsibilities:

• Inspect the quality and acceptability of purchased materials by thorough examination of the component’s critical features, measuring dimensions and examining functionality with the use of the appropriate inspection tools.
• Thoroughly review vendors’ documentation for receiving material to ensure accuracy.
• Clearly and accurately record inspection results through appropriate company procedures and policies.
• Color-code items and attach identification labels.
• Inspect work in process material and confirms First Article Inspection of operators.
• Inspect materials to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Ensure that only calibrated inspection tools are used for all quality inspection work. 
• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

• Minimum two (2) years of quality control inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the metals industry. 
• Solid understanding of inventory control.
• Must have strong basic math skills and sound knowledge of measuring equipment.
• Must have a “can-do attitude” and be willing to commit to the integrity and growth of the company. 
• Ability to stand, sit, bend, stoop, and lift 50lbs. 
• Metallurgy knowledge/education highly preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
