Hadco Metal Trading Co., LLC distributes and supplies metal products including aluminum, stainless steel, carbon, related alloys, and mechanical grade plastics. Hadco Metal products include plate, sheet, and extensive offerings of long products for general engineering, aerospace, and commercial markets. Our range of precision cutting equipment includes waterjet, band saws, disc plate saws, and shears. 

Hadco Metal Trading branches are located strategically in Arizona, California, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Kansas, New Hampshire, New York, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Oregon, Philadelphia, Texas, and Washington, with transfer stations located throughout the East, Midwest and West allowing a nationwide presence and coverage.

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 10:00AM-7:00PM

Quality Control Receiving Inspector Summary: 

Responsible for ensuring the quality of incoming material. Must be proficient with using micrometers/calipers, other measuring tools, and accurately enter precise information into company ERP system. 

Role & Responsibilities: 

• Perform material inspections utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers/calipers.
• Work directly in our warehouse operations environment with employees and management. 
• Inspect the quality and acceptability of purchased materials by thorough examination of the component’s critical features, measuring dimensions and examining functionality with the use of the appropriate inspection tools.
• Inspect work in process material and confirms First Article Inspection of operators.
• Inspect materials to ensure compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Participate and contribute to continuous improvement processes.

Requirements

Quality Control Requirements:

• Minimum two years’ work experience in a manufacturing environment in a quality inspection role. 
• Strong basic math skills and sound knowledge of measuring equipment such as micrometers and/or calipers.
• Ability to manage certification paperwork and accurately enter information into company computer ERP system. 
• Must have a “can-do attitude” and willing to commit to the integrity and growth of Hadco Metals. 
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
