Job Summary:

Cosasco is looking for a dynamic QC Test Technician to manage all inspection activities related to the products after the production cycle to ensure items meet customer requirements. The individual will be responsible for facilitating all third-party inspection activities while working closely with sales and production department.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Manage testing operations for customer orders
• Responsible for all Third-Party Inspection (including Factory Inspection Test) and integration testing
• Communicate all relevant information concerning next steps and timelines to the both internal and external customers
• Program and setup equipment as per the order requirements and inspection test plan
• Carry out bill of material checks prior to inspection
• Co-ordinate inspection activities between supplier and inspector / inspection agency
• Work with Quality/Engineering personnel to resolve testing issues in the most effective manner to ensure future test failures are minimized
• Perform inspection at supplier facilities
• Generate inspection reports for inspections and distributes to internal and external customers
• Communicate test release material to appropriate department
• Scan inspection documentation into company drive
• Maintain effective communication with all team members and internal/external customers
• Inspects applicable products, using AQL standards, to ensure all quality, packaging, labeling and functionality expectations are met
• Maintain tools and equipment for performing inspection and tests
• Manage calibration of quality control equipment
• Review supplier quality control plans, inspection, and test procedures
• Maintains a safe and organized testing area and follows all company policy, safety and procedures
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• Associate Degree in Technical field - electronics/electrical/computers preferred
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and handle customer relations professionally
• Demonstrated interpersonal skills including flexibility, collaboration and inclusion skills, and ability to work in a team environment

Work Conditions and Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing during the shift
• Flexible schedule, including some weekend hours
• Push, squat, and bend on occasional basis
• Ability to lift 25 – 40 lbs. regularly
