This work location for this position is Tampa/Orlando Fl. area.

Responsibilities:

• Support CEI business development efforts in North Florida.

• Manage inspectors, multiple sub-consultants, and other support staff.

• Assign tasks and responsibilities and monitor staff assignments and performance.

• Resolve construction management issues.

• Respond to contractor inquiries as needed.

• Maintain client communications and relationships.

• Review project submittals.

• Monitor construction contract compliance, schedules, and budgets.

• Prepare and process contractor payment requests.

• Prepare recommendations and responses to RFIs and field changes, revisions.

• Mentor staff 

Qualifications:

• 10 years of CEI or relative experience and prior management experience on Road and Bridge Infrastructure projects is required.

• B. S. in Civil Engineering

• FL PE License 

• FDOT experience in District 1, 5, 7 and FL Turnpike preferred.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Advance MOT certification

Work Environment

Intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, squatting, climbing, kneeling, twisting, stoop, crawl, and lifting. The employee must frequently lift and/or move light equipment up to 50 pounds. Must be alert to equipment in the field, occasional need to work near hazardous equipment and machinery, occasional need to walk on uneven ground, exposure to dust, gas or fumes, exposure to noise, extremes in temperature or humidity, and potential work at heights.
