The Receptionist I will represent Inland Empire Health Plan in a friendly and professional manner while demonstrating sound judgment during everyday situations that may arise in the reception area. This position will respond to callers and visitors needs in an accurate and timely manner. The Receptionist I must ensure communications with internal and external customers run smoothly and that Reception operational policies and procedures, including security protocols are followed.

Education & Experience

• No direct experience required
• Less than 12 months of prior experience in an office environment preferred
• Customer service experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED required

Key Qualifications

• Good knowledge of general office procedures and practices, office equipment, and capable of accurately maintaining records and filing system
• Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills are required
• Understanding of, and sensitivity to, a multi-cultural community
• Strong organizational skills
• Typing 35 words per minute
• Knowledge of PC applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint desired
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment required

The work location for this position requires onsite attendance in Rancho Cucamonga Monday-Friday.
