Romance and Dance Pole Aerobics is an alternative fitness studio. We have 3 locations - Our flagship in Carson, CA, and 2 other studios in Rancho Cucamonga & Inglewood, CA The studio specializes in pole fitness, but we offer a wide range of classes including Twerk, Aerial Hoop, Step Aerobics and other Elective workshops and courses.
We are looking for a Front Desk Receptionist, with potential for upward growth.
The perfect candidate for this position would be someone who has worked with people before, whether retail, food service, sales, or any other type of customer service.
List of tasks at the front desk include (but are not limited to) the following:
-Administrative tasks such as running sales/members reports and compiling data
-Navigating our booking system (we use Mindbody) and proficiency with scheduling students adequately
-Communicating with students who are entering/leaving the studio (it's important for our staff to know the names of the students and their general fitness level)
-Cleaning lobby and restroom areas
-Selling products/classes/packages at the front desk
-Using the phone to reach out to potential clients and selling packages/classes/introduction offers over the phone
The position as Front Desk Receptionist requires someone with a friendly but firm demeanor, a good memory, the ability to make sales, and just generally a person who loves to work in a fun, but somewhat fast-paced small business. You do not need fitness experience for this position.
