Summary

The Data Admin Intern will assist and participate in special projects in addition to gaining meaningful work experience and knowledge of the factoring industry.

Responsibilities

• Participate in data entry of incoming factoring schedules.
• Assists in written (faxed and certified mail) and verbal verifications of invoices, as instructed, and maintaining files.
• Assist in written notification (faxed and certified mail) to debtors and maintaining files of same.
• Assists in answering phones as necessary.
• Assis with reports and other projects.
• Performs additional duties as assigned. 

Requirements

Skills/Experience/Education

• Minimum preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required.
• Business majors preferred.
• Be a highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative.
• Demonstrates attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Possesses strong communication and teamwork skills. 
• Authorized to work in the U.S. on a permanent basis. Please note, Gulf Coast Bank & Trust will not provide any assistance or sign any documentation to support immigration sponsorship or benefit including but not limited to optional practical training (OPT) or curricular practical training (CPT)

Essential Mental & Physical Requirements

• Ability to travel if required to perform the essential job functions. 
• Ability to work under stress and meet deadlines.
• Ability to read and interpret a document if required to perform the essential job functions
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer may be required.
• Ability to lift/move/carry approximately 15 pounds if required to perform the essential job functions. If the employee is unable to lift/move/carry this weight and can be accommodated without causing the department/division and “undue hardship” then the employee must be accommodated; hence omitting lifting/moving/carrying as a physical requirement.
