Job Title: Program Manager

Reports To: Director of Housing

FLSA Status: Full-time/Salaried

Starting Salary: $54,000 annually

The Program Manager will provide supervision and oversee key functions of Supportive Service’s Programs Capuchin & Prairie, VA Tip, and Marsha’s House. The Supportive Services Development Coordinator will evaluate, research, develop and implement curriculum. The Supportive Services Development Coordinator will work collaboratively with Lead Recovery Support Specialist, Lead VA TIP Case Manager, and Marsha’s House Case Manager to ensure all program objectives are met.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provide direct supervision and management of the Supportive Service Programs Capuchin & Prairie, VA Tip, and Marsha’s House
• Oversee the effective implementation of program activities to ensure all objectives are met
• Ensure a safe, supportive atmosphere with access to high quality services for residents
• Work collaboratively with Lead Recovery Support Specialist, Lead VA TIP Case Manager, and Marsha’s House Case Manager to evaluate, research, develop, and implement curriculum
• Manage overall programmatic budgets, and design and implement coordinator of staff’s training need.
• Design and implement policies and procedures for Supportive Service Programs Capuchin & Prairie, VA Tip, and Marsha’s House
• Develop strategies to improve the overall processes and outcomes for Supportive Service Programs Capuchin & Prairie, VA Tip, and Marsha’s House
• Conduct staff observations and assess areas needed for improvement, on a regular basis
• Review case files and reports to ensure compliance with policies and procedures of the grant
• Conduct weekly staffing meetings and other programmatic meetings as needed
• Other duties as assigned by Associate Director of Interim Housing

Qualification:

• Knowledge of program management and development
• Excellent leadership and people skills
• Ability to communicate clearly, both verbal and written
• Ability to write professional and technical documents
• Supervisory experience required
• Ability to plan, implement and follow through on projects relating to the position
• Maintain a valid Wisconsin driver’s license, vehicle insurance, and reliable transportation in compliance with agency requirements
• Understanding of low barriers housing model and issues related to homelessness and mental health

Training and Experience:

• Master’s degree in social work, counseling, psychology or related field
• Minimum of 5 years working with individuals who have mental illness and history including 2 or more years of supervisory experience
• Experience developing, implementing and facilitating wellness groups that are rehabilitative in nature
• Crisis Prevention and Intervention training
• Computer proficient-working knowledge of Microsoft programs
• First Aid training and CPR certification a plus
