Responsible for oversight of DMCPS-contracted out-of-home care programs, including general and adoptive foster home recruitment, dual foster/adopt licensing and maintenance, placement matching, and managing the intake function of the Family Case Management and Intensive In-Home programs. Collaborate with DMCPS Ongoing Services Section to coordinate service delivery and ensure DMCPS contract compliance. Act as a lead, both internally across DMCPS-contracted programs and with DMCPS stakeholders, in key initiatives such as Placement Stability, Quality Parenting Milwaukee, and Relative Engagement and Support. Responsible for developing and coordinating supportive independent living programming for youth ages 13-21 served by the Family Case Management program in collaboration with community partners. Function as a member of the management team to provide oversight, support, and program development across DMCPS-contracted programs and promote achievement of multiple cross-program goals. Serve as a Children's representative in a variety of DMCPS and DCF-led workgroups, committees and other meetings.

• Master's Degree in Social Work or related field required.
• Three years of Child Welfare experience required. Division of Milwaukee Child Protective Services experience or public-private partnership experience preferred.
• Two years supervisory experience required.
• Proven ability to foster collaborative relationships with people of diverse backgrounds and experience.
• Experience working with families of diverse ethnic, cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds strongly preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Demonstrated negotiations skills and abilities to resolve conflict in a positive manner.
• Demonstrated computer skills.
