Responsibilities:
- Monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to ensure the safety and security of people and property.
- Managing access to premises, enforcing property rules and regulations.
- Reporting any suspicious activities or threats to security, and responding to emergencies.
- Providing a visible presence that deters safety and security threats.
- Documenting daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid security guard license and certifications as required by state or local laws.
- Proven experience in a security officer role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to act with integrity and professionalism in various situations.
