Human Resources Associate NV – Job Description

GT Ventures, LLC is a rapidly growing e-commerce furniture manufacturer with our headquarters located in North Las Vegas, Nevada. We are currently seeking a talented and professional Human Resource (HR) Associate to join our team and provide overall administrative support.

This position will be based in our headquarters in North Las Vegas, NV working both independently and in collaboration with HR, recruiting team, department managers and current and prospective employees daily. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator with attention to detail and a desire to grow in Human Resources.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Assist with recruiting and HR department’s general tasks
  • Assist with employee’s general inquires
  • Create, track and update records and databases with personnel data
  • Participate in timekeeping and attendance
  • Prepare orientation, hiring packets, employee documents, and other related paperwork
  • Scan and file employee documents
  • Perform records management
  • Facilitate employee orientation
  • Other tasks as assigned

Experience and Education

  • High School Diploma/GED Required
  • Experience as an office administrator, HR assistant, or recruiting coordinator preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of MS Office and/or Google Suite is a plus

  • Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organizations HRIS and talent management systems
  • Desire to continue career in Human Resources field is a plus
  • Ability to communicate in Spanish is preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Work Environment

This position operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets. This position will also operate in a warehouse setting collaborating with department managers and employees daily.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

Some flexibility in hours is allowed; the ideal candidate would have availability between 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

The ideal candidate must work 30 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Occasional weekend work may be required as job duties demand. GT Ventures, LLC is growing so there is an opportunity for growth.
