Position Overview:

Develop and manage an e-commerce department and Business Development Center that identifies sales prospects, facilitates customer loyalty and repeat business with the dealership, and mines the service drive for opportunities.

This position is commission-based, and the potential income opportunity is $105,000 to $120,000

Who You Are:

  • You are proficient and have a strong understanding of BDC and CRM tools. You can successfully develop and administer telemarketing sales training for the dealership (i.e., email, direct mail) that produces repeat business.
  • You can establish and manage continuous improvement efforts for the BDC and develop and maintain BDC labor standards to optimize productivity and serve customer needs.
  • You are self-motivated and goal-oriented. You have the proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment while achieving BDC-related customer satisfaction goals measured by manufacturer surveys.
  • You have excellent customer service skills and are clear in your communication, verbal and written.
  • You stay informed on industry trends and have the proven ability to create and manage a positive and productive work environment within the BDC.
  • You manage a team in ways that minimize turnover and encourage professional growth.
  • You are a professional with a strong work ethic.
  • You can effectively work on behalf of the local dealership with the dealership staff, customers, and communications technology vendors.
  • You value the customer experience and understand the importance of building customer loyalty throughout the vehicle-buying experience.
  • You are a dedicated, energetic team player who wants to join our ever-growing network of dealerships.
  • You have 2 years of sales management experience.

Essential Responsibilities Overview:

  • Establish and maintain effective business development center operations.
  • Staff and schedule Internet staff to meet demand and generate leads and appointments at or exceeding goals and standards.
  • Establish standards of performance for the Internet operation and BDC.
  • Develop relationship-marketing content (i.e., email, direct mail, etc.) that produces repeat business and trial.
  • Create and manage a positive and productive work environment within the BDC.
  • Achieve BDC-related customer satisfaction goals measured by manufacturer's surveys.
  • Manage commitment-tracking systems for the sales team (logins, appointment tracking, reports, etc.)
  • Review and Reach out to prospects with a personalized message before their service visit as identified as an Equity/Service Mining tool (Automotive Mastermind).
  • Follow up for five days with unconverted equity prospects with an Automotive Mastermind score of 85 or better.

Responsible for the following results:

  • BDC productivity goals are accurately forecasted and consistently achieved
  • Stable Internet team that consistently meets or exceeds productivity and service standards
  • Consistently high levels of documented employee and customer satisfaction with BDC experiences measured by manufacturer and dealership-sponsored surveys.
  • Accurate and timely sales management reports.
  • Efficient operation of the Business Development Center.

Requirements:

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Eligible to receive a Colorado salesperson license
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and have a favorable motor vehicle record
  • Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen for illegal substances
  • Authorized to work in the United States
